ESCROW PROCESSOR

JOB SUMMARY

The position of Escrow Processor is responsible for efficiently processing escrow files by electronically centralizing access to all escrow actions and digitally centralizing incoming replies and requests from escrow, outside clients and outside companies; removing processing work from assistants and closers, with the goal of increasing time for the escrow teams to answer client calls, build stronger relationships with clients and develop new clients. Proven ability to process high volumes with maintaining accuracy and demonstrate personal accountability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initial contract review and accurately open escrow files and new set ups, via data entry 
  • Monitor multiple incoming email folders and address items within standard turnaround times, which range from 10 minutes to 1 hour depending on the folder. 
  • Audit all documentation received for accuracy and ensure all documentation are saved in the transaction system. 
  • Front desk coverage as needed, greeting clients, metering mail, other administrative duties as assigned. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Effective written, verbal and listening communications skills.  Ability to speak clearly, listen and get clarification; read and interpret written information; write clearly, accurately and concisely.  Ability to read and write English fluently. 
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to be highly accurate with critical information and be able to adapt during constant interruption of duties. 
  • Ability to complete required tasks with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to following instructions  
  • Flexible: able to trade off responsibilities within the department and work as a team to get the job done  
  • Solid attendance history.  
  • Positive and productive attitude 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSING

  • High School graduate/equivalent required 
  • Minimum of 1 year prior office experience desired
